New partnership with the ANC
Update from the classroom
We are so happy to be back in our classroom after a wonderful two-week break! The children have settled back in beautifully, and we are excited for all the fun summer themes we have planned this year.
We have also been enjoying our Wednesday morning trips to the ANC. Recently, we learned all about bees and their important role in nature. Each week, we will continue exploring and learning about a new topic at the ANC, giving the children hands-on experiences and new discoveries. Weather permitting, we are hoping to spend more time outdoors in the mornings as well. Outdoor play is a great way for children to learn, explore, and enjoy the fresh air.
Reminders:Please make sure your child brings a water bottle each day, as staying hydrated is especially important during the warmer months.
Thank you, Mrs. Megan

Take the survey! If you have not already taken the survey telling us about your childcare needs, please do so by July 11. If you know of any other families on the Island, interested in starting to use the child care, please pass the link onto them as well. https://www.washingtonislandchildcare.com/survey
New partnership with the ANC. To increase opportunities for learning and fun, the WICC has started a new partnership with the Art and Nature Center. Once a week students will take a field trip across the grass to learn something new from Naturalist Steve Waldron. On our first visit we learned about bees!
